I had a fantastic stay at The Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone from the moment I arrived. I loved the excellent spa facilities, especially the thermal suite with multiple steam rooms and the jacuzzi pool. However, I did find the dining options a bit limited for vegetarians, which was a slight drawback for me.

I had a pleasant stay overall, especially due to the friendly staff and the excellent leisure facilities, including a 25-metre pool. However, the room was quite small, making it a bit cramped, and the breakfast options could use better replenishing. Still, I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfortable amenities available.
Rooms

The room I stayed in was on the smaller side with limited space to move around and store luggage. However, it had been newly decorated and was clean, which I appreciated. The staff even offered to move me to a bigger room for my second night, which made a big difference.

Breakfast was well-laid out with a nice view, but I found the pastries weren't replenished enough during busy times. The quality of the cooked food was good, but it would be nice if the pastries had been restocked promptly.
Facilities

The leisure facilities were among the best features of the hotel. The pool was great for lane swimming, and I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the spa area, although it could feel crowded.

I found The Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club a mixed bag during my stay. The leisure facilities, especially the pool and spa, were enjoyable and expansive, allowing for a good escape after a long day. However, I was quite disappointed with the small double room. It felt cramped and uncomfortable, especially for two people. Overall, while the amenities are appealing, the room sizes are notably limiting.
